God always knows what we are going to face ahead of time. This last week God gave me a verse during my regular Bible reading. It was "Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord." This week whenever I felt helpless and did not know what to do, I claimed that promise. It was a huge help and comfort to me. This process of God giving me a verse is called the Holy Spirit illuminating or quickening a verse to you. The Holy Spirit makes that verse personal and applicable to you. It is a wonderful thing. I encourage you to make the Bible a part of your every day. Allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you.
