Cathy had her ordination interview today in Louisville. Ordination is the highest level of credentialing in the Assemblies of God. It is a several year process of classes, tests, and interviews. Cathy received an unanimous vote. That means she will be ordained at the next District Council in 2009. You actually become ordained by the laying on of hands by the elders according to I Timothy. An ordination service is a deeply moving service. It is open to the public. Hopefully serveral people from First A/G is be able to come. I am really proud of Cathy today. She did really well.
