Tent Revival, part 1

The tent is set up! Tonight we will move our revival services out into the tent. Last night we met in the sanctuary because of weather concerns. We had a great service. Our evangelist preached on having memorials in heaven. You establish memorials in heaven through prayer and giving to the poor. Our young people were prayed for and I think all of them received something from God. I think it is so important for children and youth to have an experience with God at an early age. It is one thing to teach our children information about God. It is another for them to have an encounter with God.

Another thing God did last night was healing. This past Sunday I was told that an individual in our church had a MRI on their back. They were told they needed surgery. Last night our evangelist asked this person to stand. Said that God was the best chiropractor in the world and prayed for her. The neat thing is the evangelist had no knowledge about the MRI. I am positive about that. She just got into town that afternoon and did not know the person she prayed for. Isn't God great?
