Psalm 119:143 “As pressure and stress bear down on me, I find joy in your commands.”
Observation
There is joy in God’s Word. David turned to the word of God when he was stressed and worried and found his solution in the Word of God.
I will experience times of pressure and stress. It is common in life. Circumstances, people, finances, etc. will cause me stress. Life will have its pressures but God’s word remains true. God is faithful. I can go to God’s word and find joy in the midst of life’s troubles.
Application
Make God’s Word a part of my day everyday. Love it. Learn it. Live it. God’s word will bring me joy in the midst of life’s troubles.
Prayer
Father I ask that you make your word real to me. I ask that my life will be filled with joy because of the fruit your word is producing in me.
